One of two illustrations selected from Des’s 1981 award winning children’s book The Fog and the Pelican. Des created all the illustrations on dampened watercolour paper to allow the ink to bleed and give a wet appearance appropriate for the subject matter. Prints are faithful reproductions of the originals, both in size, and content.
